Keep one male only as males fight to the death. Long fins need very low flow. Labyrinth fish that needs surface air access at all times. One of the most rewarding solo fish in the hobby.

Pellets, frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp. Feed once or twice daily in small amounts only. They are greedy and will overeat.

Bubble nest builder. Male builds nest at the surface, female lays eggs, male guards them until fry are free swimming after 3 days.
