Groups of 6 plus minimum. Gentle active bottom cleaner. Sand substrate strongly preferred as gravel edges damage their delicate barbels over time.

Sinking pellets, bottom feeder tablets, frozen bloodworm. Feed in the evening when they are most active.

Egg scatterers. Lay eggs on tank glass. Fry hatch after 3 to 5 days and need infusoria then micro worms.
