The best algae grazer for planted tanks. Tiny and completely peaceful. Must be kept in groups of 6 plus. Sensitive to ammonia and needs a mature established tank to thrive long term.

Algae and biofilm already in the tank. Supplement with algae wafers and blanched zucchini or cucumber regularly.

Egg depositors. Lay eggs on plant leaves. Rarely breeds in captivity but it is possible with the right conditions.
